5 favourite animated short films!

Here is another of my 5 favourite shorts. I never get tired of watching this stuff. If you are bored while waiting in line for a table, or in a queue at the checkout. Watch one of these cool short videos! If your interested or want to share one that isn’t listed, feel free to make a comment.

Watch this charming CGI animated short film by the talented Susan Yung, Emily Buchanan and Esther Parobek @ Ringling College of Art and Design! “Runaway” is a charming story about a misunderstanding between a man named Stanley and his treasured 1950’s refrigerator, named Chillie. Set in present day, a sad event sends Chillie into a whirlwind of emotional turmoil, and as a result, he runs away.

Western Spaghetti

Western Spaghetti by PES is a different take on animation, and winner of 2009 Sundance Film Festival and runner up for TIME Magazine’s Viral Video of the Year. Watch this ingenius transformation of everyday objects.

The Egyptian Pyramids

An Archaeologist in 1920’s Cairo is about to discover the secret of the ancient pyramids.

While playing fetch with his little dog, a poor old man receives an unexpected surprise which changes his life forever. This throwback to traditional animation highlights why it was so successful.

First Impressions

First Impressions by Edward Williamson reminds us that we don’t need to overcomplicate animations. This cute story will have you giggling.

I will continue to post my favorites, but I would love to hear from you and share some of yours in my next favorite animated shorts’ blog!
